Cm and ovulation

Hey ladies, this might be a bit of a stupid question. I used to use opk's and they never confirmed I was ovulating, I used to get a bit of cm but nothing noticeable. I've been taking Metaformin for just over a month now and there's been a huge increase in the amount of cm I'm producing (yet to produce ewcm 😞) but is the fact that I'm producing any cm a sign that I'm ovulating and my body is doing the right thing? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks and baby dust to us all
