Pain during sex in early pregnancy?

pregnancy?" /> I'm 14 weeks 2 days pregnant with twins and on Saturday my hubby and I were enjoying each other's company in the naked fashion and I started having pains on my left side. Not horrible but noticeable enough to stop sex. I see my doctor tomorrow and plan on asking her but was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and what it meant for them.

I'm still in pain half the time during sex lol. We just have to get really warmed up before he actually penetrates me. Sometimes I think I'm ready but I'm not. 20 weeks btw
