preterm labor and procardia

If your doctor ever put you on procardia, what were your side effects? I get dizzy(as expected) and my heart pounds out of my chest an hour after I take it, and any time I blow my nose it's all blood. But no true nose bleeds. I left a message for my doctors nurse to call me back tomorrow, just wondering if these are common symptoms.

It always made my arms and legs go numb about 20 minutes after I took a dose, along with the racing heart. I never had the blood though

Yes! My hands and legs keep going numb too but I've been dealing with carpal tunnel this whole pregnancy so I wasn't sure if it was that or meds

While on that medication you must drink plenty of water, more than you normally do. It is relaxing your smooth muscles which included your heart creating a racing heartbeat. You should have been told what to watch for. Do you have your medication leaflet to consult about possible side effects?

Haha no they didn't tell me anything I was taking it for 4 days in the hospital with no problems. But I was on an IV and now I'm not so that explains why I'm having such a bad time lol. I'll start drinking more right now
