An 11 year old dressed up as Christian Grey for their school event, for World Book Day. He went to school in a suit and tie, along with an eyemask and a couple of cable ties.

His teachers immediately realises and sent him home because it was extremely offensive to them.

His mother spoke out because she was shocked, saying one of the teachers went dressed as Dexter, the serial killer. She said, "I don't see why sex is seen as more offensive than murder."

She says the books and film are everywhere so it's not news to the children. It was the boy's idea and they laughed it off at first. The parents spoke to their friends about it and figured it would be funny, and okay. They didn't think he'd get banned from all school activities that day.

Thoughts? I'm not sure how I feel. I didn't think it was so bad. He was in a suit. The cable ties were probably a bad idea though.
