Birth control

My mother and I frequently get in arguments about birth control, she wants me to take it even though I'm not sexually active because the "temptation could be there" I object the pill for personal reasons (I personally object to altering a women's natural hormones, especially for extended periods of time and I don't know about its environmental effects) she won't listen to my argument and insists that I need it, furthermore she tries to tempt me into it by saying "it will make your hair nice" or "you'll not have as bad of cramps" when she knows either way I don't want it, I don't know what to do, I'm going to ask her about paragaurd but I don't think she'll like that idea because she had a friend back in the 80s that perforated her uterus with an IUD
