How early is to early?

So my boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby, I got my period about a month ago for the first time after being on birth control for 4 years. I don't know how my cycle will be and how long inbetween, but I am so excited I just wanna keep taking tests because we did it everyday I was ovulating just to make sure. So should I wait and wait to see if I ever get my period? My boobs hurt much more than usual, but I don't know what it is like if you would only be a approximately a month. Thank you!!!!
