Okay so I love my boyfriend and we've been for 6months. He's in college and so am I but we go to different campuses. Putting us about 5 hours away from each other ONE way. I've never cheated and never even had suspicions of him cheating. But when he's coming to visit, or I'm coming to visit and I tell him that I'm on my period... he gets mad. He says that he knows it's not something I can control and that he isn't mad, but his whole vibe changes. He is still happy to be with me and we have a great time. But how do I know I'm not just a bootycall? ☹️

Why do you choose to believe he is mad if he says that he is not and claims to understand? Are there true indicators of this "anger" or are you just really insecure about this? Because that would be totally okay and understandable.

You are. He's thinking you are coming for sex. He doesn't get it he's mad. What does that tell you. He's just using you for sex. Been with my guy 4.5 years. He might pout for a millisecond but then say let's cuddle or I'll go get some snacks and watch a movie. You are convenience. You are comfortable. He wants to see you if he gets sex. He tells you what you want to hear to get what he wants. He calls you up when he's bored or horny or lonely. You are his back up plan not his plan. When you are a mans plan no excuses or bs lines. He's willing to sacrifice, compromise and make every effort to keep things going. When my guy worked at a distance last summer. He took trains and busses would take him 3 hours to get home even if it was only for a day or two or a few hours because I was worth it. Did he get sex then nope. He just wanted to spend time with me. I hadn't seen him in a week yesterday he said he missed the smell of my hair. He missed me, my presence not what's in my pants. When sex is the priority he's just using you. Get to know someone well before you sleep with them. If he's not willing to wait then he's not worth your time.
