🤢 for the first time at 12 weeks!!!
I'm 12w + 2d today and so far I've had a pretty uneventful pregnancy. Besides nonstop fatigue, mild nausea here and there, and then feeling like crap week 9, I've been fine. Until today that is. This morning I got so sick at work. I attempted to eat boiled eggs, like I do almost every morning for breakfast, but couldn't get through my second one. I thought maybe I waited too long to eat breakfast, but the feeling was so bad I figured there was more to it than that. I am hypoglycemic so my sugar can drop. I then tried to eat a Nutri Grain bar thinking I needed to spike my blood sugar. Made it half way through that, and was like "nope". Moments later I took off for the bathroom and made it in the nick of time to vomit FOUR times. Strained so hard I pee'd myself a bit 😩. Got it on my shirt too and my eyelashes/mascara were all mashed together from my eyes watering. Lol!! This is so backwards. I'm 3 months and vomited for the first time. Anyway, when I came to after finishing I couldn't help but think, "OMG!! I'm on all fours in a public restroom w/ my head in this nasty toilet!" 😂 To top it all off, my VERY pregnant coworker, who didn't know, was walking in the bathroom as another lady was coming out. The lady looked at my coworker and said, "You're pregnant, I'm pregnant, and whoever is in there puking her brains out is obviously pregnant too". 😂 She walked in and saw me in the stall on all fours. Needless to say, she knows now. Lol! I felt so much better after vomiting, but my stomach has remained a bit questy all day. Curious to see if this was a one time event or if 🤢 will be my new morning norm. Any other ladies have late morning sickness? If so, what was your experience? Did it go away fast or stay for a while?
