Does castor oil work?

Castor oil is extremely dangerous. I took it with my first at 40 weeks 3 days. The next day she quit moving and we had to emergency induce. She was born blue and not breathing. She spent a day in nicu. Her placenta was suffocated by the castor oil and quit functioning. If I hadn't had a doctor appointment that next morning my baby could have died.

It does induce labour but don't do it! Very bad. I used to work for social services and know someone who did it 6 weeks before their due date. There were other issues as well, however, this blatant disregard for baby's health was the final straw in taking baby into care.

That's very dangerous & irresponsible. None of us like being uncomfortable. It won't last forever. Don't risk u or ur baby's health.

Not worth the risk. I wouldn't try it. I heard the most you'll get is the shits with a horrible labor if it does induce.
