I'm 34 weeks and my hips are killing me too since week 20 ... I had some mentrual cramps as well , after 20 weeks my dr always told me to call her if I had any pain. She sent me to the hospital to monitor the baby twice just to make sure nothing wrong was going on. Everything was fine. 
So it could be nothing but it's always good to make sure right ? :)
