tips for dealing with and getting over social anxiety

Hi everyone, I suffer from pretty badsocial  anxiety and was wondering if anyone who also had/has this too and what you all did to overcome it..
This is basically what i feel on most days
- intense anxiety in social gatherings
- never really the one to talk in a large group because im worried about being judged
- i can never find the right words to say so i end up not saying anything at all
- i will cancel last minute on social events because of my anxiety
- i still get scared striking up a conversation and would prefer others to.... its almost as if i forgot how to start one
Im 24 years old and I want to so badly get rid of this stupid condition because i envy everyone who are social and are so care free.. 
I have a core group of friends (3-4) who im completely comfortable with, as well as my family and boyfriend but i struggle when im with new people.. sigh
Please anyone, please help
