Free breast pump from 1199seiu ???

Does anyone that lives in the NYC area know if 1199seiu offers free breast pumps?? And if so how did you go about getting one?? Thanks in advance.

My understanding is that ACA requires insurance to cover a breastpump per year for expectant moms or moms with babies under a year, different insurance do different pumps. BCBS does Ameda, and that pump sucks. I do get a good supply of storage bags though that I can reorder every month.

I have emblem heath , I called my provider and asked them if i qualify for a free pump. They gave me a # to yummy mummy , I called applied and 3 weeks later received my free medela pump !

Yes 1199 national benefit fund does, you have to call up and they give you the info for two suppliers. The suppliers tell you which pumps the have, and you pick one. Your Doctors office ten has to send a script to them.
