labor contractions?

Strong and painful menstrual like cramping right at pubic bone along with tightening of the stomach. Legs feel weak, and lots of pelvic pressure. Lower back pain is significant.

Labor contractions or early labor/false labor? Right now they are 9 min apart.

I suggest you have a good healthy power snack drink some water. Binge watch law and order/CSI or what ever your current show is and then take a bath...once they are 5 minuets appart and lasting about a minuet long you should go to where you plan to have your baby but don't forget to drink your water and make sure you clock your contractions and make sure everything is ready to go :)

That's how my labor contractions felt, Braxton hicks to me felt like a Charlie horse across the top of my stomach

Update: the last five contractions I've had are this far apart.

1. 7 min 43 second 
2. 7 min 20 seconds 
3. 6 min 50 seconds 
4. 6 min 45 second
5. 6 min 32 seconds

Is that odd for labor contractions to progress that quickly?

Sounds like it! Do they go away if you lay down and drink water?

I was told today by my doctor to wait until the contractions are 5 min apart from the start of one to the start of the next. He said, basically until they start to make you really grumpy. lol. But, listen to your body and do what you feel is best for you. 
I am 30 minutes from the hospital. So personally, I'll probably wait a little bit and talr a bath... but then start heading to the hospital a little early just in case.
