help please

My period is 3 days late (no big deal) but 3 days before my period I had some dark brown/red "spotting". If I used a tampon there'd be very little to no blood/discharge on it, if I used a panty liner there'd be absolutely nothing on it and then when I'd wipe ( ok I know I'm not the only one who sticks their fingers wrapped in toilet paper inside them so that they can see what's going on.... right?) there'd be a little brownish/red on it. Now today I had none of the above so decided I'd get some dick well he had just a little bit of blood (it was red) on him when we were done like he was washing it before he could see that he had blood on it. What's going on with me ): any ladies have similar stories and maybe some advice?
