Tinder "date" went sour

This may belong in the controversy forum. If so, just tell me and I'll gladly move it. I met a guy on tinder (I'm 18, he's 32!) I'm not that worried over age gaps as long as both are consenting adults. We basically have been talking, we both only wanted a hook up, nothing serious. He told me not to get attached , we haven't even met yet as he lives about 80 ish miles away. At first it was "oh I won't get attached, I barely know you" but as the days went on and we continued to text I did start to become slightly attached. So I told him, as it was hurting me and I didn't want to lie or hide it. We ended up ending things, like I expected. He's told me that he wants me to break myself of my attachment and then we can try again. I like him and I think the reason why it happened so quickly is because he's treated me better than my last 2 exes, and he is honestly fine as hell. I think I will get over it very soon and hopefully we can just do what we'd originally planned. Tell me your thoughts on this please..

Update: he's told me quite a few times that he will be busy all day, and sometime he won't respond and then other times he will, often going 4-24 hours to respond. I understand working full time...but he's also texted me and sent a pic while he was at work...I don't know if he's married! 😖
