implant help!!

hey guys!! so I need your help. I'm currently on the pill, & I switched brands about a couple of months ago. these past few periods have been terrible. they've been weeks late, & when I finally get it it's extra heavy and the symptoms are doubled. I'm currently 17 days late (yes I'm sexually active but no I'm not pregnant- took 2 tests both negative) so I'm going to my doctors tomorrow to talk about it, and I was thinking of switching forms of birth control. I was thinking the implant, but can anyone else PLEASE suggest their personal favorite birth control method? I'm in dire need here!! I'm moving states in a month so I need to get myself figured out before hand. Thank you so much in advance! ✨
