Exclusively breastfeeding question
So I don't have any bottles or a pump. My goal has always been to feed baby right from the source, not put my milk into bottles. This is ideal as I will be a stay at home mom and my partner has a few months off work as well.
But I've been told by my doctor that I'll HAVE to pump and probably store my milk. I won't be using bottles to feed him. I'm not concerned about having an undersupply, as I've been leaking healthy amounts of colostrum since 26 weeks. So why would I NEED to do this if I'm not planning on being away from baby until he can slowly begin to eat homemade baby foods?
