Paranormal Stories?

Question

I know this is an app for women situations, But i have had a couple scary experiences that I personally can't explain... I want to know how to not be scared anymore. I want to be able to address this without being scared off my butt. Because i know some of the unexplained things that happen to me are my dad giving me signs hes here because i can sense him.. but I still get scared?... Maybe while you give me advise you can share your experiences as well so I don't sound so crazy?... lol

The house I grew up in was haunted. Things would get moved, doors would open and close on their own, the dog would growl at nothing, my mom and I would always see shadows, and friends never wanted to spend the night.

There are things we haven't been able to explain out there. Some people are more open and sensitive than others. I myself have had a number of 'encounters', one of which was a rider. That's something, usually a spirit of some sort, that attaches itself to you and either saps your energy/spirit, or disrupts your life in various ways. So, you aren't alone (in many senses) and it's okay to be afraid. Fear inspires caution. But also know that there are things that you can do to either encourage or protect yourself from spiritual and mystical attention. Salt, fire, and sunlight are great purifiers.

I can sense my dad with me at times also. I'm not scared though. My sister has a 2 almost 3 year old little girl and  our dad passed away almost 8 years ago. Long story short my niece came up to my sister with her "fake" cell phone and told her "papa Bart is on the phone" that is our dads name. My sister rarely mentions him to her but we thought it was pretty amazing. I believe he was playing with her. They say kids can see things we can't.
