When to tell big brother?

So after having 2 m/c, we still haven't told our almost 5 year old son that I'm pregnant and I'm 20 weeks. We lost the other pregnancies at 15 & 16 weeks, and my husband said that we should wait till 24 weeks, so that if something does go wrong, they may be able to save the baby. My son took the last loss pretty hard, so it's a hard decision. What would you do?
