IUI treatment cost?

My husband and I were informed today that our best option, due to Pcos, would be ivf, but since that's way too expensive for us, we are opting for IUI. Have any of you tried the treatments with any success? If so, what are we looking at financially?

$300 for u/s monitoring.. $400 for IUI/sperm wash..about $9 for the Letrozol (covered by insurance).. $93 for hcg shot..

in NYC... $700 per IUI, $125 per trigger shot, $400 per ultrasound, around $125 or so per monitoring bloodwork, $15 copay per office visit, only $3 for each round of letrozole since that was covered by my insurance. some of the ultrasounds were covered because of the codes used by my doc (depending on the weekday vs weekend office). 3 rounds of IUI and approx $9k later (so on average $3k per round)... and i'm 5 weeks along.

I'm fortunate my insurance converts them 100% just normal dr visit copays. We have to pay for sperm out of pocket as I'm gay but  otherwise we're so so fortunate.

IUI success on the first try! One cycle which included hsg, labs,  consult,  2 u/s, IUI,  trigger, Letrozole,   and SO's labs $700. My insurance covers 50% for fertility related,  not including IVF. #8weekstoday

Just did my first IUI this weekend. We did back to back inseminations.

Insemination, bloodwork, and ultrasounds was $1850.
Clomid was $9. Ovidrel (trigger shot) was $100. I was also put on Estrace (estrogen) to help promote a thicker lining and that was $14. So, all in all our IUI cost about $2000. Our insurance covers nothing related to infertility 😔

I have PCOS as well and just completed my first iui (still in my 2ww) and it really depends on how medicated you will need to be and how quickly you respond to treatment and how much monitoring you need. I live in Utah and just for the iui alone (including the lab work for hubbys sperm) was 400. I paid out of pocket for my injections (gonal f) and ended up with 9 of those in total for a total of around 700. My ultrasounds total so far they said had come to 500 but we're waiting to see if my insurance will cover the ultrasounds. It would have cost a lot less if I had responded immediately and just needed the 2 ultrasounds but I didn't respond so they did 3 extra ultrasounds and had to give me a total of 12 injections instead of 3 not including my trigger shot

We were in CA when we last had an IUI. It was about $400 for the procedure, and about $2000 for the medication with out insurance. But the medication was for 2 cycles.  It cost a couple hundred less to buy two months worth.
