Stubborn boyfriend

My boyfriend is so strong minded and stubborn!!!! He thinks he's always right and I just can't win if I do or say something he doesn't like he shuts down and ignores me for days! wtf should I do it's really frustrating bc he's 34 and I'm 29 I just think it's really immature and I can't deal I don't want to break up with him but I always feel like this behavior is a sign that he can't commit, anyone able to relate to this?
