Breastfeeding and Weed

A good friend if mine and I were discussing drinking alcohol while breast feeding and that you should pump and dump, which brought us to the question about weed. If someone smokes (or takes edibles or oil drops) would she have to pump and dump too? How often? This is in the case of a joint a month, baby would obviously not be around while she smokes, and baby comes first! (And no, she isn't smoking during her pregnancy).

It's hard because there isn't much research so that's why we are turning here.

I know it's almost useless for me to even say this, but please try to not be too judgemental. The whole point is she doesn't want to put her baby in danger. If it came down to it, yes she would give up weed for her baby.
