Constipation during early pregnancy?

I am 6 weeks pregant and for the last week i have had the worst constipation, to the point that i get terrible gut aches and just have to curl up in a ball until it relieves. I cant go to the toilet for the life of me, it just hurts too much, but i feel so bloated and full and it really is so uncomfortable. I visited my gp and he gave me some tablets coloxyl with senna and I took 2 the other night and 1 in the morning and 2 last night. But nothing seems to be happening besides pain. I'm not sure what else I can do. I have been increasing my water intake and fiber.

Lol, I too have been feeling constipated. This probably wont work for you, but I am lactose intolerant, so when I feel like I need to go, I eat some yogurt and in 20 minutes Away I go~

I take milk of magnesia, eat some prunes, plenty of water, lots of veggies and whole grains. I love watermelon and cantaloupe for breakfast, it helps me go.

I've had it for a few weeks now. I think I've been able to go 5 times. Two of those were Sunday and Monday. I was so excited I almost posted about it. Lol! I haven't taken any medicine and have a terrible time getting/keeping water down. The only thing that seems to help me is moving (walking or swimming) and my fil gave me a lemon fiber bar Friday night.

Same thing happened to the in the beginning... eventually things went back to normal lol you can try drinking decaf coffee. It helped me
