New Mother Ultrasound no baby??

Question

Today me and my fiancé went to get a ultrasound. The lady said that she thinks I'm 5 weeks and 5 days.. but we didnt see anything maybe a SMALL sac but no little heart beat or no small speck of a baby... I told them that I have been getting bad cramping lately but no bleeding.. is it to early to see the baby? My fiancés friend said his girlfriend seen something at 4 weeks..

I had a scan at 5w2d by measured at 5w5d. At that point we could only see the gestational sac and yolk sac, absolutely no sign of a fetal pole or heartbeat. Went back at 7w5d and there was a baby with a heartbeat. Currently 15w4d. You are still so early and even 12 hours at that point can mean seeing something vs not seeing anything. Hang in there!  Congrats!

It's probably just too early. I wouldn't worry about it yet. And cramping is normal. I had cramping until 14 weeks with my first.

I had an ultrasound at 5weeks and there was only the sac and stuff but you couldn't see the baby or heartbeat. Went back at 10weeks and there he was, just chilling. Don't freak yourself out too much.

5 weeks sounds mega early, just in my opinion. My insurance/hospital group won't even see people until 8weeks along in order to absolutely see something.
