I only really take mine off whilst showering and if I'm preparing dinner(particularly raw meats) or washing dishes in a sink.

As much as I love my ring, I never wear it unless I leave the house. I don't enjoy snagging and knocking my diamond on everything I'm wearing or doing. I am a gardener and I have chickens, so I'm either outside most of my day or I'm in the house cleaning. Neither of which are good activities for the ring, so it stays off 90% of the time. Even if I didn't do dirty work all of the time, I'd still probably leave it off just because I find it uncomfortable to wear any jewelry unless I'm in a public setting.

The only time mine has come off in the past five years, was when I went in to have an ovarian cyst removed last summer. I hate not wearing it.

Virtually never take mine off. It's a single band and I picked the setting specifically because it's smooth/not obtrusive and doesn't have prongs or anything "knobby" that can catch on pockets, etc. I'm a wildlife biologist and the only time I take it off for work is if I'm doing something like hand-pulling fish sampling nets from a moving boat - just for safety (google "ring avulsion" - NOT pretty! 😬🤢). Husband and I also both take our rings off & clip them together on his shorts when we are lifting weights at the gym so the bats don't tear them up. But otherwise I wear that baby proudly 24/7!
