Endometriosis

Do any of you ladies have endometriosis and what are all your symptoms?

My previous gynae told me about 4 years ago after doing a pelvic exam that I have endometriosis and a very gritty pelvis. He did a laparoscopy but didn't say much afterwards except that I might need Clomid if I want to fall pregnant. He never gave me any info about endometriosis.

Last year feb I started going to a new gynae but never brought up the endometriosis thing at the time. I fell pregnant naturally after 6 months and all was well. Gave birth in Feb this year.

I am now experiencing all the same symptoms I used to have over the years e.g. heavy bleeding during periods, painful cramping, pain during sex. I now have also started getting cramping almost every day between cycles, spotting off and on and pelvic/vaginal pain off and on.

Just wan to to know if this is all part of endometriosis as the first gynae never explained it to me and I never asked my new gynae. I'm not sure what I can do about it. What treatment options are there besides surgery? I just know that the discomfort is getting worse but not sure if there's much I can actually do about it and if I should bother to make an appt with my gynae or wait until it's time to go for my pap smear in a few months.
