UPDATEhome birth ......?

Hi all just curious as to whether anyone has had or considering a home birth. This is my  2nd baby and I'm really considering having her at home. For a few reasons 
One - my first birth was induced for medical reasons. But he only took 3 hours from 1cm to birth. 
Two- I think the stress of getting childcare for my first child and getting to them hospital in time be so stressful when I could have baby at home. 
Three- I can get in my own bed as soon as it's all over hehe! 
Any advise or experience would be great. Thanks ladies 
Had my home birth in August ladies was the most empowering moment of my life would highly recommend it if you can.

I'm not having a home birth but will be birthing in a midwife center. It's like birthing at home but it's not my bedroom I'll be in if that makes sense 😂 they have a queen sized bed in there and have anything medical tucked away out of sight unless the item is necessary. Each suite has a bathroom and some even have the water birth tub option. For you to go do it at home, I would suggest getting a midwife or do that will come to your home during the birth, and maybe look into getting a doula to help keep you calm and relax you during your contractions

I'm planning a home birth. My care provider is two CPMs. I absolutely love it. I'm not high risk so I'm safer being out of the hospital. I trust that my midwives will know when an issue arises and won't wait until it's a serious emergency to transfer me. I know the OB I will have after a transfer is incredibly respectful and kind. One midwife is for me, the other is for the baby while I'm in labor. My husband, daughter, and my doula will be with us as well. I'm completely confident in my decision. I have been treated as a human being who is capable of making informed decisions. My family is included in each appointment. I'm able to ask as many questions as I want and take as long as I need at the appointments.

My first pregnancy I was with CNMs overseen by an OB. It was very medical although I had no health issues or a reason for my care to be that way. I had planned a birth center birth. The care I had with them wasn't evidence based or up to date. My questions were quickly dismissed, my appointments were short. If I brought in studies and asked about alternatives to x, y, z I was laughed at. I was induced for PROM although I had been told I could wait for labor to begin and labor at the birth center with antibiotics for GBS. The entire time they undermineded my decisions and tried to get me to give up the birth center and go with the hospital. I was told to go to the hospital because the birth center wasn't open and I fully believe I was lied to because they didn't want to have me there. .
