Scary Boyfriend

So me & my boyfriend have been together 3 years now & we're expecting our first. Both our families know & are both very excited. Now that everybody knows he said that he's more open to talking about baby things & that he is really excited. (I guess he had to get over the initial shock) Bt whenever I bring up something, weather it's the insights that this app shares or baby names, he shuts me out. Is anybody else having this problem? Or did anyone have this problem with their child? What should I do? I'm trying to be patient bt it's like he's sending me mixed signals.
