How long after implantation will a hpt detect hcg?

AF is due tomorrow, I've had zero pms symptoms and had pain on my left side (which is the side I ovulated on this month) with some brownish spotting today. I have a short cycle and am only 9dpo. I am praying this was implantation bleeding/cramps. I am finding contradictory information online, so was curious as to others experience or knowledge... How long after implantation (on average) will a hpt detect hcg? Thanks in advance!

Everyone is different and has a normal hcg level of less than 5. Hcg doubles every other day. If your normal hcg level is 1 then it would go up like this if you're pregnant: 
11dpo - 2
13dpo - 4
15dpo - 8
17dpo - 16
19dpo - 32 so you would get a + until 19dpo but if your normal hcg level is 4 let's say then...
11dpo - 8
13dpo - 16
15dpo - 32 so you'd get a + a lot sooner. Good luck and baby dust to you
