Problems getting pregnant after implanon??

Question

I had the implanon (bc in the arm) for two years and some of my friends say it causes infertility. I was wondering if anybody else has had problems getting pregnant after taking it out. Been ttc right when I got it took in out it's been 3 years and haven't gotten pregnant. Advice??

I had mine in for 2.5 years and am at month 16 of trying....I heard from a doctor friend it can take up to 2 or 3 years for it the hormones to be out of your body.

I had mine removed last month and the doctor said I could ovulate as early as the next day. My period came a week later and so this is our first month trying. I've heard from numerous people that you can get pregnant right after removal.
