anyone else buying baby gears only after 20wks scan??

Question

I have been craving to buy baby crib, bouncer, clothes, bath tub etc but I am just very scared about 20wk scan and holding myself for now. Anyone else started buying? What is the first thing one should buy? I plan to get his/her Almirah first so that I have space to keep all tiny stuff.

I'm only waiting until 20+ weeks because we are in the middle of a long distance move.  There was no point in buying something just for the movers to possibly break it.  I'll start buying once we are settled :)

Ummm.... i bought the crib last June, i was not pregnant at the time. But i knew that the crib i wanted was being discontinued, and only one store i found had it (amazon didn't even have it!) So i told hubby and he told me to get it. We never had brand new cribs for our boys, always got used ones. I also got a breast pump. I got pregnant in July last year, but lost the baby in October. The crib never was opened, just never touched it (maybe we knew something...). This time, i have slowly gotten things. I got a used mamaroo, a specific type of bottle i wanted, some clothing, a baby tub, and a infant positioning thing. The only reason i have not got much else is because we are saving for vacation that starts June 7th (20 weeks 2 days) so when we get back we will start buying more.

I bought 3 outfits but I'm only 17 weeks. I already know the baby is a boy. We will start buying major items around 24 weeks. The girls at my job is giving me a baby shower in July and my family is giving me one in August.

I brought a few items at 18 Weeks and going to get more stuff after my 20 week scan so excited. With my first born son I brought stuff at 14-15 right after I found out he was a boy😍😍😍

I've started buying a few things here and there. Mostly clothes or decorations for the nursery. I'm planning to purchase the crib, pack and play, stroller and car seat here in the next couple weeks. I have my 20 week scan on Thursday

My husband bought my crib, changing station and dresser at 16 weeks. I bought two onesies, and a pair of sneakers. I'm 20 weeks now but I still won't know the gender until June 3.
