No more connection

Lately I feel like me and my fiancé just don't connect anymore. We've been together for almost 5 years, live together, have been engaged for 3 years and are ttc. We hardly have sex anymore. It's not just sexually that we don't connect, he likes a drink but can't say no to another...and another...and another. On my birthday I was ovulating but we didn't have sex because he watched so much TV he fell asleep. Same with the next day which I was also ovulating he fell asleep watching TV knowing that I was ovulating. Seems like he wants the single life but still wants a baby. Not sure what I want anymore. I tell him I don't think we connect anymore but he just hugs and and tells me he loves me. I don't want to just end it but there us be something we can do to get back to the way it was before?
