a little advice please !

Im currently going through a hard situation where my babys father and i dont  have contact but because he stopped, i used to text him but he just suddenly stopped replying. Ive been wanting to talk with him about our babygirl but thats it nothing else,i only want to know if hes gonna be responsible for her before just going to the next step if he doesnt, because i dont want him to hate me for it. Long story short the last time i text him was about a month ago and got no reply, idk if i should text him again or call or nothing????
