what do contractions feel like?

All day I've had like I've had to poop. I've pooped some but man it's strong sometimes and I'll go sit on the toilet but nothing happens. Is this normal? My mucus plug hasn't come out. 35 weeks and 1 day. Please some help me!

Labor feels a little different for everyone. It's totally possible to "not know". I went into preterm labor and was incomplete denial. Mine felt like when you have the stomach full and you just want to curl up in a ball. I excpected to be totally blown away by contractions (like crying, completely hard stomach, feeling my entire stomach freak out). I over estimated lol. I'd say if you feel any pain especially if it's rhythmic just ring your dr. They will get u an answer real quick. Better safe than sorry right? ☺️

You're probably just constipated. You will know when it's actual contractions.
