Husband jealous of baby..?

Is anyone else's SO jealous of the baby? Our baby girl is almost a month old and my husband keeps saying I don't give him attention anymore and that I don't love him as much. Obviously most of my attention is on our baby right now.. she's brand new... Idk what to do.

It's only natural for someone to feel that way, you can't ignore it or get mad at him. Just ask him how you can help him not feel that way.

It's very common for SOs to go through this, especially when baby is attached to mama (especially if you're BFing) for the first several weeks until the dad can get more involved in feeding and playtime.
  
Just reassure him your love for him hasn't changed and include him as much as possible. 4-6w is when most pediatricians will say to introduce bottles if you're planning to pump and BF. 
  
Doing this may allow your SO to be more involved and for him to see the time it takes.

Thats a shame and my man is not like that at all and id leave if he was thats just down right stupid of course you cant show him attention you are a 24/7 caretaker

They lose their wife and best friend when we have our littles. We know what we are getting into but they don't. They aren't as tired as we are either. Definitely try to spend at least a few minutes a day that are devoted to him. Listen when he talks, don't poo poo what he finds important because baby starts making noises, baby will be find for a minute. Ask him about his day, give him a kiss, if baby is sleeping in the swing, snuggle and watch tv. It gets better. Honestly, once the kid is 2 they only want dad and you start getting jealous. Lol

Just make sure to spend time with him and show him he is important too. Men can be like babies and get jealous. My hubby never said anything to me but men love gettting attention.

I worry that my husband might feel this way when baby gets here. Just talk to him about it. Hopefully it's a short lived phase and he adjusts soon.
