10e 5day and spotting

Im 10w 5 days and just started to have some bright red spotting onset a couple hours ago. I have an appoint with gp in a couple hours but I know I won't be able to get any answers to see if the baby is still alive or not. Feeling anxious. To throw it all in the mix my hubby is in hospital waiting for surgery after an accident and I've got a 3yr old with no family around
