Moms please help! I am dying here!!!

My son is turning 1 on Wednesday. For the past 3 weeks he had such a stuffy nose and nothing I do takes it away! Sleep and eat is part of history. The only way he can sleep is when he is on my chest while I sit half upright. I really don't mind doing that at all BUT I am 37 weeks pregnant and it is quite painful for him to lie like that... I tried nasal sprays and bulb syringe, got a humidifier running, gave medicines and nothing is working... Please tell me someone has any other advise please? I am tired as hell with no help (daddy is only coming just before my c-section) and I hate seeing him suffer like this...
