should I be feeling movement by now??

Question

I felt my son at about 12 weeks and he moved continuously from then, even pushing up on my belly while I'd lay on my back. But with this baby I've only felt movement once or twice and that was about 3 weeks ago. It worries me but ther ER nurses would look at me crazy if I came in and said that being so early.  But I've been really depressed and stressed waiting for my doctor to find my previous script for Zoloft & Atarax but she still hasn't prescribed me anything or let me know if the other doctor sent her the medical record. It is good to still check at the ER/Triage? Or should I just wait till my appointment in two weeks?

I know some people don't feel movement till later..

I would wait. I'm on #5 and each one starts at a different time.

You do not need the er at all. This is not a medical emergency. Simply call your ob and ask about your records, meds and baby movement. Kick counts aren't done until 28 wks hun....you've plenty of time and 12 wks, baby cannot push against your abdomen to where you can feel it just saying....perhaps tiny little movements but nothing more...even that is rare

I'm 18 weeks and I haven't felt much movement. I asked my doctor because I know I felt my daughter by now and she said not to worry that the placenta is probably in a different spot making it harder to feel him.

I would wait. With my 4th baby i didnt feel movement until 17 weeks.
