Anyone been induced?

I'm being induced at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure and slowed baby growth. I'm incredibly nervous because I've heard horror stories about induction being the worst.

I'm getting induced in about 12 hours and I'm honestly freaking out. It's my first pregnancy and I've also heard nothing but horror stories. At my last appointment my cervix was still closed so I'm scared I'm going to have to have the cervidel ( sorry if that's spelled wrong ) because that's in for like 12 hours 😩. I'd love to have a quick labor.

I was induced at 37.1 for developing pre-eclampsia. I got to the hospital at 7:30pm, they started the cervadil at 11pm, I was only 1cm dialated then. That stays in for 12 hours. They checked me at 11am, I had dialated to 2cm. They did another round of cervadil and at 11pm (24 hours later) I was 5cm dialated. Finally got down to l+d, began pitocin around 1am, got the epidural at 3am. Was fully dialated at 4:15am and labored down for an hour. I pushed for a half hour and she was born at 6:03am. Labor was roughly 31 hours from insertion of cervadil until she was here. I was terrified as this wasn't in my birth plan and I had less than 5 hours to wrap my head around giving birth that soon. I didn't even go on maternity leave from work yet lol. But overall, it really wasn't bad at all!

I was induced with my last one. They started me on pitocin and then I had my antibiotics due to GBS. Then I asked for epidural ( love it) and they raised my dosage of pitosin as soon as I was out of the four hour window of my antibiotics. I had her 2am/3am ( spring time change). In the past I have had the scraping of membrane but it didn't work.  They threw out inducing for this one but will see what they say tomorrow

I was induced at 39 weeks for the same reason. I wasn't even 1cm when it started. Took 11 hours total. The contractions were painful and I was having back labor. Iot the epidural super early. After that it was mostly boring, waiting haha. But it wasn't long and I didn't push long and all went well(: overall it was a good experience!

I have been induced twice. I loved it! I was so upset because at every appt I was not dialate or effaced at all... I was so disappointed.  But I am a huge planner so for me it worked great! I knew exactly what the process was. So they started me on cyotec (to thin my cervix), have me Ambien to help me sleep, then checked me regularly and upped my meds every 3 hours, started pitocin, broke my water once I was at like 6cm (Or so), once at 10cm my first son I pushed for 33 mins (no complications), with my second son I pushed for 10 mins (no complications). This is my 3rd pregnancy and waiting to see what happens this time.

12/15/16 went in at 10am 3cm 80 thinned pitocin started 10:30/10:45 water broken at 6:30pm 7cm still 80 thinned my contractions got too strong so my dr had to manually thin and dilate me in order to insert a monitor on my daughters head mins after it was placed i began pushing she was born 7:08pm no pain meds i used a stress ball from start to finish for contractions my mil rubbed my feet with lotion i listened to music i focused on breathing slow deep in through nose out through mouth
