Hospital Distance from Home

Hey y'all, FTM here seriously thinking about switching hospitals. I love my provider but am not sure I want to give birth at her hospital as I used to work there and there were some issues. I would just prefer to give birth where there's a clean slate and I don't have to think about anything but giving birth! The problem is the hospital i want to deliver at is 50 minutes from my house and Im worried about making it there in time 😥 Is this too far to drive while in labor? Anyone else have to drive this distance to their Birthing Center? Also, I'm 25 wks now, is it too late to switch?
