This is my first child... I was all excited to plan out a baby shower with my friends... Then my MIL steps in... My sister messaged me saying she was planning the shower and asked me if the 2nd of May 9th worked out better. I instantly knew if was for my shower and I was instantly pissesed I already picked and requested of work May 31st for my shower. I picked what cake I wanted, games I wanted to play, activities, and food I wanted to do... Then my MIL chimes in trying to plan it all and thank God my sister told me because she wants it all to be a "surprise" I'm only having one shower. I think I should be involved or have some say. 😬 UGH... That's like having a surprise wedding no one wants that.
