irregular period?

I got my first period in October and what does it mean if your late and not pregnant (lol) because I'm only 12

When you're first starting to menstruate, it's normal for your period to be irregular. (Heck, mine is still so irregular that I can't actually track it, and I'm 19 🙄) sometimes only one ovary has started ovulating, so you might only get your period every other month. Stress can also effect your cycle and do things like make you late, that sort of thing is pretty common, actually.

So don't worry about it, your body is still getting into the swing of things.
 It'll probably even out into a regular cycle after a while (it might even take a year or so, depending on how your particular body works)

If you're still worried about it; talk to your doctor next time you go in, I promise they've had those questions before.

Your body is adjusting to hormonal changes. It's totally normal to have it be irregular that young and that close after just starting

It honestly is so normal! 
I got mine at 11, & at the beginning of my first couple months , there would be a month I didn't have it, your body is just adjusting while you're growing as well . It shouldn't be any concern :)
