Does anyone hate how far apart ultrasounds are??

I feel like I'm so anxious with this being my first baby, and I want to constantly check on the baby to make sure everything is going well! I just hate that I have to wait so long in between US appointments! I haven't had symptoms aside from being tired and sore breasts so it always makes me nervous! I also get random back aches which worries me! Please tell me I'm not alone in wanting to check on baby!

Girl, I am the EXACT same! Same symptoms and everything! And I, too, am worried. From reading stories about the baby just stopping growing and having no symptoms, I'm scared to death! Ugh! Thankfully we have 2 weeks till we're in our 2nd trimester 🙏🏼 hopefully some of the worries will be eased up then.

My first ultrasound was 7w. My next one isn't until 18w. I'm going to go crazy. I just bought myself a fetal Doppler and will probably worry myself more than anything.

I had spotting at almost 6 weeks so my OBGYN doctor scheduled my first ultrasound. Sadly, we didn't see a baby and only saw a gestational sac. They told me I was measuring under 5 weeks. We had another one at almost 8 weeks for good measure because the spotting stopped a week ago  and the baby was clearly there wiggling with a strong heartbeat. However, I was measureing 7 weeks and 3 days. I worried  that my baby is going to be short. However, the doctor said the ultrasound have a variance up to 5 days so I can keep my LMP date. To sum it up, its too early to tell anything right now. Give it time and focus on your health during this time. Sometimes knowing earlier causes more stress. I am glad I am free to wait until the 12 weeks ultrasound with no problems.

My next appointment is four weeks away which freaks me out because I'm high-risk. Once I hit 16 weeks I will see my high-risk doctor every two weeks but I got to make it to that day and it freaks me out

I'm in the uk , im going to be 10wk on Monday and I have my 1st booking appointment with with midwife on Tuesday , but that's not a scan, she said I shouldn't expect my first scan till around 13wks seems late to me, we are waiting for the scan before we announce, we haven't told anyone yet!! I'm getting so impatient x

Ive had to have drs and u/s every 2wks as im classed as high risk, and I can tell u it's still nerve-wracking. Ive got a u/s tomorrow morning and im utterly terrified that it's going to show something hasnt progressed. I'm 10wks today and so far it's the furthest ive gone since my 2nd son and he's almost 6! We have been trying for about 4 yrs now for #3 and its been a rocky ride. I hope everything is going really well for ur 1st pregnancy and remember to enjoy these moments xxx

I totally feel you on this. It's almost a constant state of anxiety for me as well. I had a MC in February and conceived less than a month later. But I never got to see anything on ultrasound the other time... anyway, this time I'm feeling very positive and I know that it's different.... however, my first ultrasound was at 7weeks4days and strong heartbeat. I couldn't hear it for some reason but I could see it flickering! Now I'm still waiting for June 07th to come so I can see my baby love and know that she's (or he's) okay! Some days I d0nt wake up feeling as pregnant as I usually do and it freaks me out! I'm also on progesterone twice a day until next visit. Hang in there ladies!💖

My first u/s was at 9 weeks. Second at 12+6. Third is Tuesday-I'll be 20+5. After that, because I was born with a small hole in my heart (closed by the time I was one month!) we get to have another ultrasound at 23 weeks with a fetal cardiologist. After that, we don't get one till 32 weeks. I dread that 9 week wait!

Totally!! In the uk usually your first u/sound isn't until 12 weeks unless you have spotting and need an early one. I had a missed miscarriage previously and this time round I've already paid for 2 private early scans. I'm so paranoid I almost booked a third this week even though our 12 week scan is next week but we've decided to hold off and wait now. If I could I'd have one every week until I was 12-13 weeks but it's way too expensive!!!

You're NOT alone. I had my 1st US at 7wks 2dys I go back June 5th and I'll be 12wks 2dys. Seems like an eternity! I also constantly wonder if my baby is doing well in there. I've also only experienced sore breasts and severe fatigue. My friend is also pregnant and she purchases Groupon US, I've thought about doing the same but not sure how safe they are. Hang in there, and I hope your baby is doing well!
