When did you start using baby wipes?

My doctor says to wait til my son is 1 month but his poops are really something and the rags don't cut it

The day she was born. I've never heard a doctor say not to use wipes.

I've never heard this? If anything use the scentless wipes for sensitive skin but my son started using wipes since he was born

Day 1. I used natural wipes. Honest company ones are what I used until I discovered the Costco ones. Kirkland wipes are 💥 bomb

You can try water wipes. They are supposed to have less chemicals. We've used wipes from day one, however when my son gets a rash, we try to use water and washcloths.

From hour 1. 
I have friends that use cloth wipes exclusively. I use cloth diapers and disposable wipes personally. And use disposable diapers for at least the first week. That meconium is hard to wash out.

Its an outdated practice. My kids pediatrician still recommends no wipes on newborns. My older kids (10, 13, 16), we were told to use water and cloth to wipe their bottoms. The hospital would even send us home with the supplies. But with my 7 month old, the hospital just provided sensitive baby wipes.

In the hospital, they preferred that I use cotton balls dipped in water to avoid irritation. We use water wipes though and never had an issue.
