Type 2 diabetics?!

Hello!! I am just curious if there are any other type 2 diabetics on here? I have two boys and my youngest is 6months. My husband and I want a third baby and have been advised to have baby #3 sooner rather than later for less chance of long lasting insulin days (I'm diet controlled outside of pregnancies) or pregnancy complications. But I am torn as to whether or not I want to wait until our youngest is a full year to start trying to conceive. Any opinions?
