Ladies how was your labor? How did you know it started? What was your pain like? When did you loose your mucous plug? How much were you dialated before labor started? When did you finally head to the hospital? Comment 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

My labour went wonderfully. I had a feeling I was in early labour because of 
1. Losing 2 chunks of my mucus plug a week prior to giving birth and 3 days before giving birth
2. Bloody show
3. "Cramps" that were fairly consistant
The pain just felt like intense period cramps. Totally not that bad. I was 3 cm dialated when I went to get checked. Dr broke my water because I had been leaking amniotic fluid for a few days. Within 3 hrs I went from 3cm to 10cm and was ready to push. I didn't have any pain relief as the pain was manageable (but the nurse did make me have laughing gas to try and stop me from pushing until the dr. Arrived). It took less than an hr to push her out :)

I never noticed a mucus plug with my first 2. I was never checked for dilation with either of them. With both, I had one painful contraction that broke my water and I was fully dilated within 5 hours for my first (idk with the second I had a repeat c section and the last time they checked I was at 6 cm a couple hours after my water broke). I remember feeling a little crampy for a few days before my water broke with my second baby. But no plug, no bloody show, nothing that was telling me I would go into labor soon.

My mucus plug was lost a day before my water broke. My water broke and I was stuck at 2cms over night I was induced at 9:28am and delivered by 11:28am. It was quick. Painful but honestly not as bad as I had expected after hearing horror stories. The worst was going from 8 to 10cm. After that pushing felt relieving. I had an episiotomy and stitches but it really wasn't as bad as I had expected.
