Gestational Diabetes

I feel like I have had so many little things pop up during this pregnancy that when my doc called earlier today and said I failed my glucose test yesterday and have gestational diabetes, I literally sighed and said "of course I do."
I bled a few times in the beginning and went to ER once. They told me I had placenta previa but then turned out I didn't.
Went to the ER a different time because I had chest pains and couldn't breathe. That time turned out to be gallstones. I had a few gallbladder attacks over the next week until one gallstone finally completely blocked a duct and I had to have surgery to remove my gallbladder. I was in the hospital 3 days.
During our anatomy scan, they told us our son is missing a main artery in his umbilical cord so he has just a 2 vessel cord. We had to see a pediatric cardiologist for an echo (this came back normal). Now I get monthly ultrasounds to track baby's growth to make sure he's getting proper nutrients.
And NOW I have gestational diabetes. I get to prick my stupid finger a million times a day and keep a log of everything. I'm so exhausted.... 😒😔
