So I decided to write this post for moms to be because it was something I didn't think about and hope will help someone else. If you plan on pumping GET A MANUAL pump as well as your electric!! I had just an electric and it broke and I was not able to pump for 12 hours until I was able to get a manual and boy was I in SO much pain! Also if you need a replacement pump if yours breaks, pay the extra to have it shipped overnight. I didn't know it was an option until it was too late and with the manual pump for about 4 days(not long) my supply dropped a bit because it wasn't as effective at removing milk for me. Also for bf moms I imagine a manual pump would be useful for when baby doesn't want to eat and you are engorged, etc. Hope this was helpful ☺️
