Looking for advice in transitioning from breastfeeding
Hey beautiful mamas out there. So my little on is turning one on Friday. I can't believe it. It has gone by so fast. Anyway, I am preparing to transition him off of breastfeeding and bottles. The bottles don't seem like they will be a problem, but every morning he wakes up about 5:30 to eat (sometimes earlier like today) and also feeding around 6:30 at night right before bed. I need help on the next way to transition him.
With my first son I didn't have this problem because I was only able to breastfeed him the first month. When it came time to transition him off of the bottle and pacifier I did it cold turkey and he had no problems what so ever. With my current little one it seems to be a little more difficult. He is taking things a lot slower than my first one did. So this is all new territory for me. I'm use to my first be little Mr. Independent and learning how to do things on his own as early as he could. My current little one is a total mamas boy (which I absolutely love), but I don't want to be the reason that he holds back or anything like that. So I definitely would love some advice!
What worked for you? What didn't work? I want to make this process easy for him. I don't want him to wake up crying to eat every morning (which is what he does now). He cries until I get him out of his crib to feed him. So any help is definitely greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!!
Here are my two little loves. They definitely hold a big piece of my heart. 😍😍😍
