How to deal w/ natural birth?!

What are some ways you guys handled natural birth? 🤗

All five times i walkeda lot then when the surges were very strong i sat in a warm bath for relief...then delivered. Breathing or low moaning through the surges....no screaming no holding breath.....

Get a doula. Learn as much as you possibly can. View birth as a normal biological event and not a medical issue that needs to be managed. Figure out what non medical pain relief options you'd be interested in. Trust your baby and your body.

I didn't do anything special. I cried a little, yelled a little, tried to remember to breathe lol. I put music on to distract me from the pain. After 18 hrs I couldn't do it anymore and went to the hospital for an epidural... best 5 hrs ever!!! Then contractions slowed down and they took away the epidural and the rest of the labor I had to do it without pain meds. More crying, screaming.... oh yeah I was having back labor the whole time.

I would soak in the bath at first then I would get on my birthing ball, to me at that time it was the best thing ever invented ☺️

I didn't know I was in labor. I was at the hospital cause I guess my contractions were so close together but I was only 34 weeeks. I went in at 6 cm and they said if it spaces out well discharge you. Sat through the whole night of contractions I guess and the next morning I'm 8 cm and she said I guess you'll deliver before 3 pm today. I said 😮😮😱. And she asked if I wanted epidural I was about to and my sister texted saying don't do it! And all of a sudden I got so much courage and said nahhh I don't want it. And the nurse honestly said after I'm glad you didn't take it. It kinda slows down the labor and your already 8 cm. I'm also terrified of needles when they put the epidural in me my first pregnancy I jumped when she clearly said don't move. So this pregnancy I'm going in with the mindset I'm not doing epirdural again. My first epidural I still felt pain and for half a year or so I had tingling sensations in my pinky finger which felt like the skin was broken. So yes I wouldn't do epidural agin noope! ( unless I medically have to do it)

The first 2 that I did without medicine I completely forgot my breathing and everything so those were mostly just a lot of screaming with the 3rd I remembered my breathing and it was amazing I was laughing and joking with my husband all the way up until it was time to push then there was some screaming lol I think it helped that it was back labor though for some reason it seemed way more tolerable being in my back than when it was all in my stomach
